Leslie Fox (GC)

Leslie Owen Fox was awarded the George Cross for the gallantry he displayed in rescuing victims from a bombsite in Fulham on the 20 February 1944. Notice of his award was published in the London Gazette on the 20 February 1945. He was a deputy party leader in the London County Council Heavy Rescue Service at the time.[1]
